People are always struggling on the road to go somewhere, to find a path in the darkness; to achieve something, to find their worth. They start their journey with some hope, they just need some light to keep going on the road. I help them find the road, make them see in the darkness while darkness remains under my feet. They forget me as long as they find the road and achieve their goals, see the light. I remain straight and tall, always standing in the same place waiting for someone who needs my help to find a way. Nobody remembers “a roadside lamp” after the sun appears, despite that, I find happiness in enlightening others.
